3 Simple Ways To Fully Enjoy Your Saturday


It’s Saturday. Most of you don’t have to clock in to anyone’s clock today. Today is your day of freedom, or perhaps it’s the day you get caught up on things you had no time to get to during the week? Whatever it is, you have the option to make this day whatever you want to make it.

Most of us look forward to the weekends. Saturdays and Sundays are magical days for those caught up in the weekly hustle and bustle. So if you have deemed the weekend as your time to relax, refresh, and unwind, that’s exactly what you should do.

Here are 3 ways to enjoy your Saturday:

  1.       Have a great breakfast.

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. During the week, you may not have time to have the best breakfast. More than likely, you are just grabbing something quick and running out the doors. Take advantage of this free day and eat a big nutritious breakfast. Go ahead and have those waffles, eggs, bacon, fruit, and glass of orange juice. Whatever type of breakfast you would like, have that. Enjoy it.

  1.       Schedule “me time”.

Now you may not have the opportunity to be with yourself often but Saturday is the perfect time to sneak in some “me time”.  Decide that at some point of the day, you will take time out for yourself. It could be 5 hours or 5 mins. Just take time to acknowledge your own presence. It should be law that we all have time to ourselves, at least sometimes.

  1.       Do something creative.

Creativity and self-expression are the opening acts for free living. We are all creative beings and it’s imperative that we are able to express ourselves through whatever creative avenues we choose. Saturdays are the perfect time to indulge in something artsy. It’s also a great form of meditation. Believe it or not, meditation isn’t just sitting Indian style on the floor with your eyes close.
