Are You Afraid To Take A Chance On Yourself?

So often we become the very force that is holding ourselves back. So many of us will even take a chance on others before we ever think to take a chance on ourselves.

Marianne Williamson once said, “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our Light, not our Darkness, that most frightens us.”

While failing can be scary, the fear of actually succeeding is what stops most dead in their tracks. The power you possess within yourself will forever lie dormant, until you are brave enough to awaken it. There’s nothing wrong with having faith and believing in other people, but when will you start to believe in yourself? When will you step up, and go to bat for yourself? When will you utilize all that untapped potential?

Taking a chance on yourself will always result in you discovering something new about who you are as a person. You will discover a weakness or a strength, but either way, you will be able to use what was uncovered as a tool to grow and further evolve.

Everything’s a learning moment, and this fact, is what makes life so beautiful.

Do not fear meeting a different version of yourself. Do not hide in darkness fearing your own light. Each time you choose to not bet on yourself, you're putting the odds against you. It’s okay to take a chance on you.

You owe it to yourself.
