Entrepreneurship is popular. Taking the road less travelled has become the cool thing to do, which is making the “road less travelled”, the road travelled more frequently.

Everyone wants to be the boss now, which is cool because entrepreneurship has opened the door a little wider to financial freedom. Entrepreneurship is also a confidence builder, but it can also be a confidence killer.

Most people may not know exactly what it is they are getting into before jumping into working for themselves.

Working for yourself requires discipline, perseverance, consistency and thick skin. Here are 3 things to know about entrepreneurship:

It takes work.

It takes more work.

It takes even more work.

As you can see, “work” is the operative word here. Just think about all the work you put into working a 9-5, now magnify that by 1000. Working for yourself isn’t easy. You must put in a lot of time, energy, and work. If you are looking for an easy way out, entrepreneurship may not be for you. If you are willing to sweat a little, and you will sweat, then become an entrepreneur. Just be prepared to work.
