How To Create A Solid Morning Routine

How do you begin your mornings?

It may seem like something that may not be all that important, but it is actually very important.

If you want your days to run smoother, you should start taking control over the way you start them.

Creating a morning routine that works for you is essential.

Consider it your “pre-day starter” starter kit.

So what does a good morning routine consists of?

Well, you should incorporate things that will increase your odds of having a great day.

You may not be a morning person, but the right routine can make you hate mornings a little less.

Your morning routine should include inspiration to get your heart pumping, reflections to get your mind going, movement to get your blood circulating, and a nutritious breakfast to provide you with optimum energy.

If you are brand new to morning routines, it will take some time getting used to. The more you practice the execution of it, the better you will become. Before you know it, you will be waking up to jump straight into your routine without a second thought.

So how do you create a solid morning routine?

First, you figure out what time you are going to start your day. Give yourself enough time to wake up early enough to actually execute your routine.

Then, you should decide what your routine will consist of.

Inspiration, reflection, movement, and energy (breakfast), are what will make up your foundation. All you have to do is plug in whatever activities work for you.

For example, your morning inspiration may come from listening to music, or watching a TED Talks video. Your moment of reflection may be in the form of journal writing, or mediation. Do whatever you feel you need to do to make your routine as successful as possible.

You may even have to play around with different things before you land on a solid routine, and this is okay.  Remember, the point is to figure out what works for you.

Putting more effort into how you begin your day will substantially improve how the rest of your day flows. So why not plan to start your days on a good note?

You are simply setting yourself up for success by doing so.
