Big Boi’s Boomiverse Album Doesn’t Disappoint

The music industry has been booming lately. New music has been released left and right. Perhaps, the OG artists has gotten tired of the “mumble” rap that has flooded the airways, or maybe they have just been inspired.

Whatever it is, many of the music artists we loved back in the day have been putting out projects, letting us all know they still got it. Outkast’s very own Big Boi just put out an album and it is most definitely a beautiful body of work.

Big Boi stayed true to his roots with his latest album Boomiverse, but he did it in a way that could still get the attention of the younger listeners. Boomiverse is a reminder of all the classic tracks Big Boi was apart of back in the day. It would’ve been dope if there were a couple Andre collabs on the album, but Big Boi held his own. Plus, the collaborations he did have weren’t too bad.

Big Rube, Killer Mike, Jeezy, Sleepy Brown, Gucci, Pimp C, Snoop, Kurupt, and Curren$y, are some of the artists featured on the album.

Boomiverse has 12 tracks of nostalgic vibes. It will definitely have you going back in time to when the music was a little bit funkier. If you haven’t listened to the album yet, you can find it on your preferred streaming service.
