Drake announced a new project called More Life on Sunday night (Oct. 23rd), during an episode of his OVO Sound show, which is aired on Apple Music’s Beats 1 radio.

With his birthday being today (Oct. 24th), it was only right that he gifted us with the promise of new music to look forward too. On his radio show, he also debuted 3 tracks from his upcoming project, the track list included, Two Birds, One Stone, Sneakin (feat. 21 Savage) and Fake Love.

Drake’s last album Views, was released back in April. The album was played over a billion times on Apple Music’s platform alone. According to reports, this upcoming project won’t be called an album or mixtape, More Life is being called a playlist with all original music.

However, the announcement for his new project is slightly being overshadowed by a Kid Cudi diss on the Two Birds, One Stone track.

The line that has everyone talking is:

“You were the Man on the Moon, now you go through your phases / Life of the angry and famous”

Not too long ago Cudi announced he was checking into rehab because of depression, so many fans are outraged by the “diss” and don’t find the line amusing or entertaining, considering Cudi’s current circumstances.

What are your thoughts? Do you think Drake took it too far? Or is it all fair game in hop hop?

In the meantime, Drake released Sneakin’ and Fake Love on Spotify, take a listen below:
