J. Cole is adding more dopeness to his roaster. Atlanta's dynamic duo, Johnny Venus and Doctur Dot of EarthGang, officially signed with the label on Thursday (Aug. 31).

They will be joining J.I.D., Bass, Cozz, Ari Lennox, Lute, and Omen. This is definitely a major win for EarthGang and for J. Cole as well. EarthGang gives off OutKast vibes but they aren’t OutKast. They have cultivated their own sound and image.

Rags, EarthGang’s new EP, will be released today (Sept. 1). Hopefully, this will be the beginning of more EarthGang and more Dreamville in general. J. Cole has an eye for good talent. Every artist he’s signed has the potential to be pretty major if the cards are played right.

It will be interesting to see what new heights EarthGang will reach with the backing of Dreamville.

You can catch EarthGang alongside J.Cole at the Made in America Festival in Philly on September 2.

Congrats EarthGang, you guys deserve it.
