Kanye West’s Yeezy Season 3 Fashion Show had a lot going on. Some fans enjoyed it, and some were pretty critical of it. He revealed his clothing line, tracks off his The Life of Pablo album, and a video game preview all in the same night, in the middle of Madison Square Garden.

Kanye has been giving us his projects in such creative ways. He’s clearly all about pushing the envelope with his visions when it comes to making them reality. Whether you understand what he is doing or not, you have to respect that fact that he is actually out here trying new things out and expressing himself through his creations. This is what art is all about right? Taking risks and being innovative?

Yeezy Season 4 Fashion Show was streamed lived on Tidal and debuted on September 7th, the first day of New York Fashion Week. The show took place on Roosevelt Island in New York City.

Ye’s line is basically hunger games meet minimalistic high fashion. The pieces are pretty simple yet still cool and chic. They could definitely be dressed up or down, with heels, flats, or sneakers, it all depends on how you choose to wear them. Kanye caught some controversy for a tweet he sent out days ago stating he was looking for “multi-racial” models, maybe he didn’t word what he was trying to say properly because the models in the fashion show were all shades, shapes, and sizes. The diversity in the models was a big plus for the show. Even if you aren’t feeling the clothes, the concept itself was pretty dope.

The execution of the concept on the other hand may not have been so flawless. According to some reports, the models were fainting from the heat and you could see water bottles being given out to models who had to sit down on the lawn. Hopefully, Kanye West will use this as yet another learning experience and make sure the models are taken care of and more comfortable for the next show.Models fainting is never a good look and it took the attention away from what he was actually trying to do.
